Social Awareness Campaign

The objective was to create a social awareness campaign focused on educating the public about the hazards of smartphone distraction and the potential accidents it may lead to. The challenge was to convey this message effectively through a visually compelling campaign that would capture the attention of the target audience and encourage behavioral change.

To address this challenge, through research was conducted, analyzing road signs, and studying existing warning campaigns. Drawing inspiration from their simplicity and immediate communicative power, a design style was developed that mirrored the visual language of these signs. This involved simplifying complex messages into clear, concise visuals that could be quickly understood by viewers.

A series of advertisements both physical and digital were designed to deliver the message. Each design uses bold colors, striking imagery, and minimal text to grab attention and convey the urgency of the message. Emphasis was placed on creating visuals that would provoke an emotional response and encourage viewers to reflect on their own smartphone habits.
